Core Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding -Assist in posting job ads and screening candidates. -Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring processes for factory and office staff. -Prepare offer letters and employment contracts. -Facilitate onboarding for new hires, especially machine operators, quality control staff, etc. Employee Records Management -Maintain accurate HR databases and personnel files (e.g. attendance, leave, training). -Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. -Update employee records for job changes, resignations, and promotions. -Payroll & Attendance Support -Collect and verify timecards or digital attendance from factory employees. -Coordinate with payroll teams or vendors to ensure accurate salary calculations. -Track overtime, shift differentials, and allowances. Training & Development -Schedule training sessions, particularly around health and safety, machine operation, or ISO standards. -Keep records of certifications and mandatory training. -Employee Relations -Handle basic employee inquiries and grievances. -Support communication between management and shop floor staff. -Help organize employee engagement or welfare programs. Compliance & Safety -Assist in monitoring compliance with safety regulations (especially OSHA/local equivalents). -Maintain safety training logs and incident records. -Administrative Tasks -Prepare HR reports, letters, memos. -Handle staff insurance, medical claims, and HR audits. -Support industrial relations matters (e.g., disciplinary actions, warning letters, etc.). Specific to Manufacturing Settings -Close collaboration with production supervisors to manage manpower planning. -Familiarity with shift scheduling and labor-intensive workflows. -Handling HR matters involving foreign workers (if applicable). -Knowledge of health & safety regulations is a big plus.
