Job Description Summary

Executing flawless technical activities. As the go-to person in all things technical, you’ll keep the Company up to speed on operating and utilities costs. Together with the facilities manager, you will monitor the invoices for technical services rendered. Aside from these, you’ll keep an eye out on the maintenance practices of our contractors to ensure that their scope of work is aligned with manufacturer recommendations and our own preventive maintenance standards.

Job Description

Building Services System Maintenance:

  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of cooling and heating systems, plumbing and water supply, electricity and lighting fixtures, and other equipment and supplies.
  • in charge of performing routine inspection, inventory and documentation of these systems.
  • Coordinate and supervise corrective maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Supervision and Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a team of technicians stationed in the commercial building.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, training, and development programs for the team.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Equipment Operation:

  • Plan and take responsibility for smooth operations of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing installations and civil works pertaining to the facility.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and optimize equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with building management for any system/ equipment failure and contingency plan

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with M&E equipment vendors and service providers.
  • Review vendor performance and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with procurement to evaluate and select vendors for equipment and services.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee the inventory of spare parts and materials for M&E systems.
  • Implement efficient inventory management practices to ensure availability.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce and promote safety procedures and protocols for M&E systems in the commercial building.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain register of all call outs and support the site to prepare incident reports.
  • Coordinate appropriate action for rectification including preliminary cause and effect analysis of fault.

Technical Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Ensure that technical documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.

Pay: RM4,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
