Location: Kulim Hi-Tech, Kedah
Project: Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Operations
Requirement: Valid Malaysian Driving License (Class D) – Compulsory
1. Engineer – PDI Project
Responsibilities:
- Lead process improvement and system enhancement for PDI workflow.
- Analyze inspection data and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Coordinate with production and QA teams on technical matters.
- Develop inspection standards and technical work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Manufacturing Engineering.
- Min. 2–3 years experience in vehicle inspection or automotive assembly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Driving License (D) – compulsory.
2. Executive – PDI Operations
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily PDI progress and report key performance indicators (KPI).
- Assist in manpower planning, material control, and vehicle flow.
- Coordinate between PDI teams, QA, and Logistics.
- Prepare and update documentation for internal/external audits.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Automotive, or related field.
- Fresh grads with internship experience in manufacturing encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and documentation.
- Driving License (D) – compulsory.
3. Team Leader – PDI Line
Responsibilities:
- Supervise PDI operators to meet daily output and quality targets.
- Ensure all inspections are done according to SOP.
- Conduct on-the-job training for new staff.
- Communicate work issues and report to supervisors/engineers.
Requirements:
- SPM with at least 1–2 years experience in automotive or manufacturing line.
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in shifts and under pressure.
- Driving License (D) – compulsory.
4. Supervisor – PDI Operations
Responsibilities:
- Oversee PDI line operations and ensure compliance with safety & quality.
- Manage workforce discipline, attendance, and productivity.
- Liaise with logistics for vehicle movement and delivery timelines.
- Support engineers and QA in defect resolution and root cause analysis.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent with supervisory experience.
- Familiar with PDI, quality checklists, and reporting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Driving License (D) – compulsory.
5. QA / QC Inspector – PDI
Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicle exterior, interior, functions, and road test performance.
- Record findings, raise NCRs, and follow up on rework.
- Support continuous quality improvement activities.
- Ensure documentation is complete and accurate before vehicle release.
Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical/Quality field.
- At least 1 year of experience in QA/QC.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Driving License (D) – compulsory.
6. Operator – PDI Line
Responsibilities:
- Perform standard PDI checks (interior, exterior, fluids, electronics).
- Identify and report any defects according to checklist.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of vehicles.
- Adhere to safety procedures and 5S practices.
Requirements:
- SPM or equivalent.
- Willing to learn, able to follow instructions and SOP.
- Must be physically fit and willing to work on rotating shifts.
- Driving License (D) – compulsory.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract, Temporary, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
