Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for driving the company’s sales strategy, managing the sales team, and expanding business opportunities across key regions. This individual will oversee high-level client relationships, ensuring that revenue targets are met or exceeded. The role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring the company’s services are positioned competitively in the IT, cloud, and data center solutions space.

The Sales Director is responsible to:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market growth.
  • Establish goals and monitor progress toward achieving sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Business Director to align sales initiatives with the company's overall business goals.
  • To explore strategic partnership and collaboration with potential partners or companies within MY and outside of the MY region.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead the identification and acquisition of new clients, ensuring a strong sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate contracts, closing deals that align with business and financial objectives.
  • Represent at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and build client networks.

Sales Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, setting clear objectives and expectations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development to the team.
  • Ensure the team’s activities are aligned with company goals and that each member meets their individual targets.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to drive lead generation efforts and create marketing materials that support sales goals.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and forecasts to the executive team.
  • Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery for new clients.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, DC, or a related field. A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the IT, cloud services, or data center industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience managing high-level client relationships and negotiating large-scale contracts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM20,000.00 - RM22,000.00 per month
