Job Summary: The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the coordination and deliverables for both infrastructure and applications development aspects in the Regional Delivery Center setup. This role is crucial for the success of the regional delivery center, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The IT Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure the successful implementation of infrastructure and applications requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support the setup of the regional delivery center in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans for both infrastructure and applications development, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Estimate resources and budget required for project completion and manage project budget.
  • Develop risk management plans and perform risk assessments.

2. Coordination and Execution:

  • Lead and manage the implementation of infrastructure and applications development projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including group services, architects, software developers, infrastructure personnel and external vendors.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

3. Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication among all project team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.

4. Team Leadership:

  • Build, lead, and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, including performance management and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

5. Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop and implement best practices and tools for project execution and management.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
  • Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Track and report on project performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-8 years of project management experience, with a focus on both infrastructure and applications development projects. Experience in setting up regional IT services is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Teams, Confluence, JIRA).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including network, server, and storage technologies.
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Recommended experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Recommended knowledge of IT infrastructure components (e.g., servers, networks, storage).

Additional Details:

  • Salary Range: Up to RM17, 300.00
  • Working Hour: Monday to Friday, 8.30AM to 5.30PM
  • Location: Kuala Lumpur
  • Contract Duration: 12-Months

Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM17,300.00 per month
