Job Purpose

The Senior Associate Director of Payment Solutions & Acquisition will support the development, execution and management of payment solutions and customer acquisition strategies SME/Commercial customers. This role will play a key part in driving revenue growth, optimizing payment products and enhancing customer experience by implementing innovative payment solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of payment solutions tailored to SME/Commercial customers, including commercial cards (credit, debit, prepaid and virtual), payment gateways, and merchant solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to recommend improvements and maintain competitiveness.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align payment strategies with the bank’s overall GEB’s objectives.
  • Ensure seamless integration of payment solutions with digital banking channels to enhance user experience and efficiency.
  • Work closely with sales teams to implement customer acquisition initiatives, leveraging payment solutions.
  • Support the development of value propositions and marketing campaigns to drive adoption of payment products.
  • Support the end-to-end product lifecycle for business cards and payment solutions, including market research, product design and features, pricing strategies and performance optimization.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics for payment solutions and acquisition initiatives to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in managing partnerships with payment schemes, fintechs, and service providers to expand product offerings.
  • Analyze customer data to identify acquisition opportunities and optimize engagement strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports and insights for senior management on product performance, market trends and customer behavior.
  • Ensure all payment solutions and acquisition activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Risk Management and IT teams to maintain security, governance and operational efficiency in payment solutions.
  • Engage legal teams to review and structure agreements with payment schemes and fintech partners to ensure compliance and commercial viability.
  • Assist in implementing risk mitigation strategies related to payment transactions and fraud prevention.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, banking or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in payments, transaction banking, or product management within the banking or fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of SME/Commercial banking products, payment processing and digital payment solutions.
  • Experience in developing and managing commercial/business card products and solutions.
  • Knowledge of digital payment platforms, fintech innovations and regulatory frameworks related to payment and card solutions.
  • Experience in customer acquisition strategies and business development is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
