Job Description
This is a finance business partnering role that reports directly to the Supply Chain Finance Manager. The role involves close collaboration with the Supply Chain and R&D teams to support the growth of both domestic and export businesses.
- Support month-end closing activities and related accounting tasks.
- Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports, along with in-depth analyses of supply chain performance—covering areas such as operating expenses, production usage variances, inventory holding, and fixed asset activities. Promptly highlight any variances to relevant stakeholders to enable timely corrective actions and ensure cost-efficient operations.
- Coordinate cycle counts and year-end stock counts, and handle inventory-related tasks such as subsystem postings, stock reconciliations, and inventory holding analyses.
- Evaluate capital expenditure by reviewing documentation for asset additions/disposals, tracking budgets, and maintaining the fixed asset register.
- Assist in preparing periodic financial forecasts, the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and strategic plans, providing detailed estimates and insightful analysis.
- Lead and support initiatives related to continuous improvement, cost optimization, and new project development within the Supply Chain and R&D functions.
- Manage and support finance-related tasks such as management/regional reporting, audit requirements, indirect tax matters, costing activities, surveys, and insurance claims.
- Undertake any additional duties or ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the superior.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a finance role, preferably within the FMCG manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of multitasking while working independently.
- A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
