  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enforce safety rules and regulations in compliance with DOSH requirements and ISO standards.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and institutions regarding OSHA matters.
  • Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and propose safety control measures.
  • Promote safety and health awareness among all employees through training, campaigns, and safety briefings.
  • Conduct regular inspections of emergency equipment, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits.
  • Lead and monitor Safety & Health Committee (SHC) meetings and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) regulations and maintain proper documentation for audits.
  • Plan and coordinate emergency response drills (e.g. fire drills, chemical spill simulations).
  • Conduct safety induction and training for new employees and contractors.
  • Monitor usage and storage of hazardous substances and ensure compliance with chemical safety procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports on safety performance and statistics to management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field.
  • Certified Safety and Health Officer (Green Book holder) by NIOSH.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of working experience as a Safety and Health Officer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Well-versed in Malaysia’s OSH management systems and standards (e.g. OSHA 1994, FMA 1967).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team with strong problem-solving ability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,999.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bayan Lepas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:
