- Audit daily hotel revenues and payments; updates accounts; ensure that daily transactions are proper, correct and in balance
- Verify room cancellation, no show and rate discrepancy
- Verify Gift Certificate postings and Complimentary Room
- Prepare monthly income journal records the entire month revenues in the appropriate accounts and the corresponding payment accounts
- Ensure proper correction for the posting mistakes and discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure figures in Point-of-Sale system and Property Management System are tally
- Verify Credit Card slips, City Ledger and Employee Ledger folios and guest checks before being submitted to Accounts Receivable section
- Ensure Room/Banquet revenues correlate to the Event Orders/EO Change
- Ensure Paid out vouchers and Rebate vouchers are in accordance with established procedures
- Check General Cashier’s Report against system reports to ensure there is no discrepancies/shortage/overage in cash collection
- Perform daily cash count and prepare bank deposits
- Conduct surprise cash count on cashiers’ floats and house bank float
- Ensure proper tax collection and tax payable to the Customs on time
- Prepare Bank reconciliation for Receipt Account
- Assist month end & year end closing financial report
- Perform random spot checks guest checks at outlets
- Any other activities and tasks requested by Financial Controller
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
