We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist cum Officer to manage our front desk and provide administrative support across the organization. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while also handling a range of clerical duties to ensure efficient operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner

• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls

• Maintain the reception area and keep it neat and presentable

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages

• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation

• Coordinate with various departments for inter-office communication

• Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary

• Support HR and Admin departments with documentation and logistics

• Manage visitor logs and issue access passes if required

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols at the reception

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration or similar is a plus

• Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Friendly and professional demeanour

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred

• Prior experience in front desk and administration support

• Knowledge of office equipment like printers and fax machines

• Fluency in English and Malay
