Job description • 6+ years’ experience and Experience installing RHEL 7/8/9 from scratch on Physical and VM 3. Location: in region (SA/NA/EMEA/AP/China) • Create and deploy bash scripts to automate clean up routines, check system space allocations and system memory usage. • Experience shell scripting to automate administration jobs including backups for Websphere administration repository. • Manage and maintain virtual computing environment base on VMware and administers computer systems with windows. • Experience on scripting using Perl, shell and bash. • Develop scripts (Korn/Bourne, Perl, python) for automating the batch jobs. • Configure LDAP clients on server test and troubleshoot for maintaining network and data security. • Spearhead adoption of network and SAN virtualization technologies for substantial organizational savings. • Set up stand-alone LDAP (SLADP) server. • Install and configure DHCP, DNS, and NFS. • Prepare and maintain code for various Java applications. • Used Perl scripts for deployment code on multiple servers. • Develop a java software application to patch systems in the field. • Involve in various user administration activities including local and LDAP accounts. • Work with python for deployment of storage, networking and compute node. • Design and set up of firewall systems, and DNS servers from scratch. • Modify a chef cookbook on tomcat that are on the chef super market. • Install IBM DB2 and work with database administrator on setup up and maintaining databases. • in resolving their problem using the tools in the Linux OS or from the command line. • Perform UNIX security audits and implementing security audits. • Integrate existing monitoring with cloud base Data Dog and PagerDuty tools. • Install and configure DHCP on client to allow hosts to obtain necessary TCP/IP configuration from a DHCP server. • Upgrade and patch the hardware drivers, existing software and third party software using the yum, rpm, etc. • Install, configure and maintain various Linux/UNIX software and applications using the package management systems apt, yum, and rpm. • Create containers and deploy applications in JBOSS on different containers. • Provision new servers with Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL, Debian, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and other operating systems according to customer specifications. • Perform root cause analysis on failing infrastructure components and implement corrective measures to rectify problems with those components. • Work and certify under the process of ITIL environment. • Resolve complex customer problems within Red Hat Satellite and other system management solutions • Support customers by responding within the designated service-level agreement (SLA) period Diagnose problems, troubleshoot, and develop solutions for customer issues • Exceed customer expectations by providing outstanding customer service • Collaborate with other engineers and developers to develop creative solutions for our customers, including fixes • Web support engineer for familiar with Appache Tomcat 9 • LEVEL 2/LEVEL 3 Web support Engineer - Must have experience in • building/migrating/upgrading/installing web server/web engine from scratch. • Any industry exp is okay • must have exp in Linux/Unix platform (familiar with) • Must have exp in supporting any of the product -- IBM WebSphere, IBM we logic, J BOSS • Experience working with F5 load balancer for web • Share your knowledge gained from troubleshooting issues by contributing to the global Red Hat knowledge management system;
