  • Supervising the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Managing inventory accounting processes, including cost accounting, valuation, and reconciliation.
  • Overseeing the tracking and accounting for the company's fixed assets.
  • Supervising and mentoring accounting staff, assigning tasks, and providing performance feedback.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.
  • Performing financial analysis to provide insights into business performance and support decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and preparing required regulatory reports.
  • Collaborating with other departments (e.g., operations, sales, human resources) to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) may be preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting, with a minimum of 10 years in a progressive accounting role, including supervisory experience.
