Your Mission:
We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join our team based in KL, Malaysia. As a Assistant Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of supply chain operations to ensure seamless delivery of premium products across retail channels. Your role will focus on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining the highest quality standards while aligning with Venchi’s commitment to sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Optimization
- Design and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies for imported luxury food products, including inventory management, warehousing, and distribution across Singapore and regional markets.
- Collaborate with global suppliers to ensure timely procurement and adherence to ethical sourcing practices.
Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee cold-chain logistics to preserve product quality, ensuring compliance with Singapore’s food safety regulations (e.g., SFA standards).
- Negotiate contracts with 3PL providers to achieve cost-effective and reliable last-mile delivery solutions
Demand Forecasting & Inventory Control
- Utilize ERP & Internal systems (e.g., SAP) to forecast demand, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory for high-value perishable goods.
- Analyze sales trends and seasonal fluctuations to align supply with retail demand.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Implement rigorous quality control protocols for imported goods, ensuring compliance with international certifications (e.g., ISO, HACCP)814.
- Mitigate risks related to supply disruptions, customs clearance, and regulatory changes in the APAC region.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, retail, and finance teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or related field; MBA or CSCP certification preferred.
- 8+ years in supply chain management, preferably in luxury food, FMCG, or retail industries.
- Proven track record in managing cross-border logistics and cold-chain systems.
- Expertise in ERP/WMS systems and data analytics tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and logistics partners.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore’s import/export regulations and food safety standards.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian or Mandarin is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on CRM, trade marketing, and e-commerce.
- Proven experience managing marketing campaigns across multiple markets (Singapore and Malaysia preferred).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and e-commerce ecosystems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin or Malay is a plus.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered to be Supply Manager role.
