Apply now and join the journey! The Job: a. Strategic HR Advisory 1. Advise the CEO on workforce planning, employee exits, restructuring, and company growth strategies. 2. Ensure business decisions align with employment laws and minimize risks. 3. Develop and implement HR policies and strategies that support the company’s long-term goals. b. Payroll & Compensation (Malaysia & Oversea) 4. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Malaysia and oversee payroll operations in other countries. 5. Ensure accurate salary calculations, statutory contributions and tax compliance. 6. Collaborate with external payroll vendors and local HR teams to ensure smooth payroll processing in regional markets. 7. Work with Finance to ensure timely and accurate payroll disbursement across all locations. 8. Stay updated on payroll legislation changes and ensure compliance in all operating regions. c. Talent & Culture Development 9. Drive employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives. 10. Develop and implement leadership development and performance management programs. 11. Enhance employee experience through learning & development initiatives and well-being programs. d. Talent Acquisition, HR Operations & Compliance 12. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration. 13. Ensure compliance with labor laws in all operating regions. 14. Continuously improve HR processes for efficiency and effectiveness. e. Employee Relations & Workplace Culture 15. Act as a trusted HR advisor, handling employee concerns professionally. 16. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture. 17. Ensure fair and legally compliant employee exits, including payroll finalization. The Person: 1. Bachelor’s degree / professional certificate in Human Resources, Psychology, and/or any related field. 2. Good command in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (spoken and written). 3. 6+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. 4. Proven experience in advising senior leadership on HR strategies and compliance and the ability to partner with senior leaders and provide HR insights for business decisions. 5. Experience in organizational design, workforce planning, and employee retention strategies. 6. Proven hands-on experience managing full payroll processes, including compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements. 7. Proficiency with payroll software, and google-suite products. 8. Strong expertise in talent management, talent acquisition, organizational culture, employee engagement, and leadership coaching. 9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels. 10. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions. 11. Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
