What would you do?

• The Associate IT Security Operations will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the IT security team. This role involves monitoring security systems, responding to security incidents, and assisting in the implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyse security alerts from various sources (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
• Respond to security incidents and perform initial triage and investigation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are followed.
• Maintain and update security documentation and reports.
• Participate in security awareness training and education programs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Any other duties and tasks assigned and/or as required.

Who should join us?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Securityor equivalent
• Relevent certifications (eg., Security+, CISSP, CEH) are a plus
• 1-3 years of experience in IT Security operations or a related role.
• Good understanding of Active Directory and a solid grasp of cloud technologies such as Alibaba Cloud and Azure Cloud. Alibaba cloud experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of security technologies such as EDR, IDS/IPS and SIEM.
• Good understanding and knowledge in Office365 Security and Compliance, PAM, PIM, DLP or any other security solutions.
• Understanding of Security Frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001 and BNM RMIT is desirable.
• Experience on implementation and support in IT projects
• Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Powershell & Python.
• Experience in conducting security presentation and awareness training to user and stakeholder.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Work collaboratively
• Fast learner and self-starter
• Cautious, disciplined, responsible and able to follow operational procedures meticulously
