  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position Title: Lecturer – Early Childhood Education (School of Education)
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Lecturer to join our School of Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education (ECE). The ideal candidate will bring both academic expertise and practical experience, inspiring the next generation of early years educators. The ability to teach Montessori methods and special needs education is advantage to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, student-centered lectures and tutorials/workshops in Early Childhood Education
  • Supervise practicum placements and provide ongoing student mentorship
  • Participate in curriculum development and review
  • Engage in scholarly activities including research, publication, and conference participation
  • Contribute to community and industry engagement initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Master’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field
  • Practical experience in the ECE industry, ideally with exposure to both Montessori settings and inclusive education
  • A sound understanding of current trends, policies, and practices in ECE
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to high-quality teaching, continuous learning, and student success

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience in higher education teaching or adult education
  • Familiarity with multiple pedagogical approaches and child development theories
  • Active involvement in professional ECE networks or associations
  • Able to conduct ECE hands-on practices, especially Montessori.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
