We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure the achievement of production goals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production staff, maintaining quality and safety standards, and optimizing workflow to support company objectives.

Candidates with experience As Production Supervisor confectionary manufacturing, chocolates, bakery goods will be highly considered. Salary can be negotiable based on experience level and previous relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor production staff, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate them clearly to team members.
  • Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities, preparing schedules, and monitoring progress to meet production targets.
  • Oversee the safe use of equipment, coordinate regular maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct training for new employees and ongoing coaching for existing staff to promote skill development and team integration.
  • Monitor and verify production output according to specifications, identifying and resolving issues in efficiency or quality.
  • Prepare and submit clear, systematic daily and monthly reports on production performance and progress to management, utilizing Excel or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operational flow and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of materials as needed.
  • Enforce company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards at all times.
  • As well as other Adhoc tasks and regular tasks as a production supervisor

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach to achieving production targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with production management software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good Communication skills, Responsible, reliable, punctual, and able to take initiative in fulfilling the role of Production Supervisor.
  • Able to respond flexibly to operational needs, including occasional ad hoc attendance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years (Preferred) of supervisory experience in a relevant manufacturing or relevant production setting.
