Junior Production Manager (CONFECTIONARY EXPERIANCE PREFERRED)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Manager with experiance in the confectionery industry or a similar/related role.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficient planning, accurate forecasting, and seamless communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Forecasting:
Develop and deliver accurate forecasts of materials needed for production on a monthly and weekly basis to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
- Operational Management:
Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. Be available to come in on an ad hoc basis when needed to resolve issues or support the team.
- Cross-Department Communication:
Maintain clear and effective communication with Production teams, Engineering, Purchasing and senior management to coordinate activities, address challenges, and align goals.
- Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare systematic, clear, and comprehensive daily and monthly reports using Excel for management review. Reports should include production metrics, material usage, and any variances or issues encountered.
- Quality & Detail Orientation:
Exhibit a strong eye for detail to ensure product quality and process efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions proactively.
Our Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a production management role, preferably within the confectionery or food manufacturing sector.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and forecast material requirements accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with multiple departments and management.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable preparing detailed reports and data analysis.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to respond flexibly to operational needs, including ad hoc attendance.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality production standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in confectionery production is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of production processes is preferred

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
