BHD. seeks a CNC TURNING MASTER CAM EXPERT to help design test our planned upcoming projects with create dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s development. • Create 2D toolpaths for roughing and finishing on CNC lathes. • Optimize turning operations for complex geometries using CAM. • Design custom workholding and fixtures in CAD. • Create advanced CNC turning toolpaths using Mastercam • Modify CAD models for machinability improvements. • Use CAD software to design part geometry. • Generate inspection reports from CMM data. • Import CAD models into CMM software for 3D part alignment • Prepare CAD models for CAM simulation and fixturing. • Customize post processors for specific CNC controls. • Conduct internal audits for CAM file structures. • Analyze CMM data to adjust CAM toolpaths and offsets. • Integrate probing and inspection macros into CAM programs. • Create live dashboards linking CNC run data and inspection feedback. • Apply closed-loop compensation from CMM to CAM. • Optimize tolerancing in design phase to match CNC capability. • Use cloud-based CAD/CAM platforms for collaborative programming. • Generate toolpath simulation and verify code inside Mastercam • Perform rough-turning for castings or forged stock. • Support turned part inspection using profile scanners or vision systems. • Develop CAM checklists and best-practice documents. • Conduct simulation reviews with production teams. • Document lessons learned from machining issues. • Support knowledge sharing across milling and turning teams. • Analyze cycle time and propose toolpath improvements. • Program high-pressure coolant strategies. • Use mill-turn machine simulation for interference checks. • Generate toolpaths for polygon turning or eccentric features. • Create programs for turn-mill parts with dynamic toolpaths. • Program contour milling inside turning centers. • Manage part transfers between spindles. • Synchronize sub-spindle operations. • Create threading cycles for standard and custom threads. • Generate toolpaths for groove and undercut operations.
