Design & Engineering: Review and interpret all electrical drawings including SLDs, layout plans, and schematic diagrams. Perform electrical design checks including load schedules, cable sizing, voltage drop, and system coordination. Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), TNB requirements, and Malaysian Standards (MS IEC). Site Management & Supervision: Lead the execution of electrical installation works on-site. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, technicians, and site supervisors to ensure timely and quality delivery. Resolve technical issues and site conflicts in a timely and practical manner. Conduct daily walkthroughs to monitor workmanship, progress, and safety. Testing & Commissioning: Verify proper installation and perform pre-commissioning checks. Assist in testing, commissioning, and rectification processes to ensure all systems are operational and certified. Prepare testing documents and assist in authority inspections (e.g., ST, TNB). Tender Coordination: Assist in the preparation of technical submissions and tender documents related to electrical scope. Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQ during tender stage to identify technical and cost implications. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to gather data, specifications, and compliance documents required for bidding. Project Coordination: Liaise with consultants, clients, and main contractors for technical clarifications and coordination meetings. Support project planning team in developing work schedules and sequencing. Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and site progress reports. Documentation & Close-Out: Provide technical input for as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and final handover documents. Ensure all documentation aligns with contractual and statutory submission requirements.
