Senior Quality Engineer

Role Summary We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Quality Engineer to be responsible for designing, implementing and executing test plans to improve the efficiency, functionality and usability of our components and products. The QA Engineer will work with all stakeholders (product management, UX, architects, engineers) to ensure the highest quality artifacts are delivered. You will be an integral part of the development team; helping debug code, correct errors and troubleshoot issues. Candidates should be organized, diligent, have a strong knowledge of software code and testing methodologies and be a team player. Key Responsibilities • Design test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures • Document test plans and capabilities tested • Execute test plans • Track & report on critical test metrics • Verify reported issues • Coordinate with development team to resolve reported issues • Mentor Associate Testers • Participate in project design to bring quality perspective to design process • Performance and Stress test components to ensure required reliability goals are achieved • Progress manual testing into repeatable automated testing Requirements • A foundational understanding of software languages – ex: JavaScript, Typescript • Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies • Experience with one or more test frameworks - ex: Playwright, Selenium, Mocha, Jasmine, Jest • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills • Good organizational skills and an eye for detail • Ability to work with a team to achieve communal goals • Previous experience testing software • Experience working with cloud-based technologies What will set you apart: • Snowflake • NodeJS • Jenkins • Grafana • Databricks • TestRail • Artillery.io • MongoDB • Postman • Generative AI knowledge About KINESSO KINESSO is the technology-driven performance marketing agency within IPG Mediabrands, providing actionable growth through optimization, analytics, AI, and experimentation.
