Job Description: The Warehouse Assistant supports the day-to-day operations at Lotus’s ambient Distribution Centre. This includes unloading, sorting, picking, and preparing goods for delivery to stores. The role requires physical work and the ability to follow safety and operational procedures in a fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities: - Carry out general warehouse duties: unloading, sorting, checking, picking, and loading goods. - Operate material handling equipment (MHE) such as hand jacks or forklifts (if trained). - Pick and move stock as instructed, ensuring the correct quantity and item are prepared. - Safely stack goods onto pallets or roller cages to prevent damage. - Load goods onto delivery trucks and arrange stock neatly and securely. - Assist in internal stock movement and placement at designated areas. - Report any damaged or missing stock to supervisors. - Perform basic housekeeping: cleaning work areas, returning tools, and organizing inventory. - Comply with all company policies, safety rules, and operational SOPs. Location: Bukit Beruntung, Selangor - Ambient temperature warehouse (non-chilled, non-frozen). - Shift-based schedule (5 working days per week, including weekends and public holidays). Requirements: - Physically fit and able to lift and carry boxes - Willing to work on rotating shifts in a fast-paced warehouse setting. - Able to follow work instructions and safety procedures - Basic understanding of Bahasa Malaysia or English is an added advantage. - No prior experience required; training will be provided. - Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
