As Sales and Business Developer, you will be at the forefront of our expansion in Malaysia. From identifying prospects to overseeing project execution, you will combine technical knowledge and commercial acumen to deliver tailor-made solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement the sales and business development strategy defined by the Director.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across the region.
• Develop and grow client portfolios in sectors such as energy, construction, oil & gas, and naval defense.
• Prepare persuasive technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
• Lead contract negotiations and close deals with a focus on value and partnership.
• Oversee the commercial follow-up of projects, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Provide regular reporting on activities and performance to the Director.
• Contribute to special projects or initiatives aligned with your competencies and business needs.

This position reports directly to the Asia director.
QUALIFICATIONS & PROFILE
• Bachelors degree in Business Development, International Business, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales or business development.
• Strong commercial sense combined with a technical mindset.
• Previous experience in the lifting and handling sector is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player.
• Willingness to travel across the Asian region.
