About the Job The Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s accounting operations. This role involves supervising a team of accountants, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulations, and timely reporting. Strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience in managing full sets of accounts would be ideal for this role. Job Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including AP, AR, and GL. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing and reporting. Review and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness. Manage and monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, and tax agents. Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting best practices. Support management with financial analysis, cost control initiatives, and ad-hoc reporting. Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing training and performance evaluations. Qualifications & Experiences Needed At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., MFRS, IFRS). Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities.
