Maintenance Manager

Job Title: Maintenance Manager Location: Klang, Selangor Salary Range: RM8,000 – RM20,000 per month Industry: CNC Machined Components, Milling, Coated Surface Metals Employment Type: Full-Time We are partnering with a prominent and fast-growing company specializing in the manufacturing of CNC machined components, precision milling, and coated surface metals. Our client is looking for a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations, ensure optimal performance of machinery, and implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime in a fast-paced, high-quality production environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in machinery maintenance within the manufacturing industry, with hands-on experience in managing a team and ensuring the operational integrity of production equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and lead the maintenance team to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of CNC machines, milling machines, and other production equipment • Develop and implement a proactive maintenance plan, focusing on preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance strategies • Coordinate repairs, servicing, and upgrades of machinery to ensure minimal downtime and maximum production output • Maintain a detailed log of maintenance schedules, service reports, and equipment history • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure smooth operations • Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring timely procurement of necessary components for repairs • Collaborate with production, quality control, and engineering teams to ensure that equipment meets production requirements and standards • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and ISO standards in all maintenance activities • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective practices are followed • Provide training and development for the maintenance team to enhance technical skills and improve efficiency Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, particularly in CNC machining, milling, or surface coating • Strong hands-on knowledge of machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair • Proficient in using maintenance management software (CMMS) and tools • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve operational excellence • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards, particularly in CNC machining and manufacturing • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment efficiency • Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus If you are a results-driven Maintenance Manager with a passion for machinery optimization and leading maintenance operations in a precision manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.
