As part of their strategic expansion, they are hiring an ambitious and experienced Senior Manager, Business Development to accelerate growth, identify new markets, and shape the commercial future of the business. This role goes beyond traditional sales—you will be a key strategic driver, leading business development initiatives that open doors to large-scale industrial projects across Malaysia. Your Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow market presence in the logistics, e-commerce, FMCG, and manufacturing sectors. • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities, engage key stakeholders, and pitch integrated warehouse automation solutions. • Cultivate long-term relationships with decision-makers including directors, supply chain heads, and procurement leaders. • Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to design and deliver tailored automation proposals. • Lead negotiations and close deals involving capital-intensive systems (e.g., AS/RS, AGVs, conveyors, racking, robotics). • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, seminars, and client presentations to enhance brand visibility and credibility. • Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging technologies to stay ahead in the market. • Prepare business plans, growth forecasts, and sales performance reports for top management. What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields. • Minimum 5–8 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in industrial automation, warehousing, logistics tech, or capital equipment. • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and the ability to build consultative relationships. • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. • Confident engaging with senior-level stakeholders and closing high-ticket deals. • Self-driven, results-oriented, and resilient under pressure. • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin is an added advantage. • Willingness to travel when required for client meetings or industry events.
