Bar Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations at Las Meninas, a vibrant Spanish and Mediterranean restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting unique cocktails and providing excellent customer service in a lively dining atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily bar operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and ordering supplies. Develop and update a creative cocktail menu reflecting Spanish and Mediterranean influences. Train and mentor bar staff on mixology techniques, beverage presentation, and customer service standards. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Monitor and manage bar inventory, including tracking sales and minimizing waste. Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and creating a welcoming environment. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly. Collaborate with management to plan bar-related events and promotions. Qualifications: Previous experience in a bar management or bartending role, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits, especially those relevant to Spanish and Mediterranean cultures. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be at least 21 years old and have the required licensing (e.g., bartending certification).
