Responsibilities
About the team The Commercial Sustainability team's main focus is on ensuring long-term commercial viability and ecosystem health. They focus on strategic planning to maintain a healthy marketplace or monetization ecosystem, often work on policy design, guardrails, and incentives that drive sustainable growth for creators, sellers, or partners, balances short-term revenue goals with long-term ecosystem health Responsibilities - Be part of the Malaysia TikTok Shop Commercial Sustainability team, responsible for driving key strategic initiatives through data analytics, business planning, and project management - Involved in various projects under Mall, Ads, Policy and BXP - Accountable for the overall project goals: capable of systematically breaking down high-level objectives into actionable metrics for different teams, with clear target-setting logic. Communicate effectively across teams and closely monitor progress toward each goal - Possess a clear path to achieving objectives: able to identify key levers for metric improvement, and design a concrete roadmap and practical solutions around them - Build strong alignment with stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment and rallying cross-functional teams toward shared goals. Effectively coordinate and manage complex projects to ensure simultaneous progress across multiple workstreams, delivering stable and meaningful results - Lead and manage the projects team by allocating responsibilities, providing guidance, and ensuring both strong outcomes and individual team member growth
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with a background in the e-commerce. Must have relevant experience in strategy or analytics. Experience with P&L or budget management experience, or a background in consulting, will be an added advantage - Strong analytical mindset with a solid grasp of data. Proficiency in Excel-based analysis is required - Strong strategic thinking and the ability to distill clarity from abstract concepts and form sound judgments from complex data. Capable of translating high-level ideas into structured, actionable execution plans Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent communication skills. Candidates with experience presenting high-stakes projects to senior leadership will be strongly preferred - Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Prior experience leading complex, cross-functional collaborations is highly desirable - Curious and eager to take on challenges. Willing to dive deep into complex topics and maintain long-term focus. Able to perform well under pressure and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
