As the Credit Controller, you are responsible for managing the company's credit policies and procedures, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining a healthy cash flow. You will work with the finance team, customers and other departments to minimize credit risk and optimize the company's financial performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Notify debtors by email, or telephone call of upcoming or outstanding invoices
- Arrange for account statements to be forwarded to clients each month, updating records when necessary
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and address any payment delays or discrepancies promptly
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize late or non-payment by customers, including initiating collection actions and negotiating payment plans
- Provide weekly reports and coordinate meetings to address any accounts receivable issues
- Coordinating with other departments such as sales, customer service and finance to handle all credit-related matters appropriately
- Generate regular reports on accounts receivable, collections and credit risk to management, highlighting areas of concern or improvement opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing their queries or concerns related to credit matters
Skill & Qualification:
- Possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of experience in managing credit and accounts receivables or in a similar credit management role
- Must be able to converse and in written in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Shah Alam: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
