Roles & Responsibilities:
As the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for Electrical Section.
Your other roles and responsibilities also include:
- To plan & conduct annual training sessions for laboratory personnel.
- To plan, conduct & review the competency assessment for the laboratory personnel.
- To update & maintain competency/training records of the team.
- To analyze and formulate plans to improve the skills of the laboratory personnel.
- To update on the changes to calibration procedures, lab procedures to the laboratory personnel.
- To maintain the reference standard such that the consistency and traceability is archived and comply with the specification.
- To perform calibration whenever required and provide technical knowledge to laboratory personnel when new UUTs are received.
- To ensure that the laboratory environmental conditions do not invalidate the calibration task.
- To update and review the calibration procedures, CMC calculation and other documents required under ISO 17025.
- To ensure that the latest valid edition of international reference material is used.
- To identify in nonconforming work on technical issue and evaluate the significance of non-conforming and decide on the corrective actions to be taken.
- To participate in the PT/MA received by the lab.
- To involve in internal audit and external audit as well as customer visit.
- To participate in Management Review.
- To participate in the improvement of the Management System.
- To analyze the risk and plan the risk assessment with quality department.
- To enhance the scope of accreditation.
- To ensure that the laboratory technical operation complies with the Management System and clauses as stated in MS ISO/IEC 17025.
Authorities:
- Direct access to the highest level of management at which decisions are made on laboratory policy or resources.
- To appoint Section Head.
- To determine personnel competency
To be a Successful Candidate:
- Possess at least Bachelor's degree in Metrology, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Having a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Metrology (Electrical)
- Possess strong knowledge in analytical & problem-solving skills, understanding of ISO17025
- Ability to be a team player & be communicative
- Attentive to details and data-driven
- Willingness to travel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
- Performance bonus
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Shah Alam: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
