Account Assistant (GL)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining the General Ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare and review financial reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
  • Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Support accounts payable/receivable functions as needed
  • Maintain organized financial files and records
  • Communicate with internal departments and external stakeholders when required

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
  • Familiarity with accounting software (MASTER)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
  • Excellent time management and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
