
Manager, Sales (Hospitals and Specialist Centers)
Objectives:
1. Market Expansion & Revenue Growth – Drive strategic sales initiatives to expand market penetration and increase revenue for laboratory testing services.
2. Customer Education & Product Awareness – Educate customers on the value of laboratory testing through targeted engagement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
3. High-Performance Sales Team Development – Recruit, train, and lead a results-driven sales team with expertise in laboratory testing solutions.
4. Sales Process Optimization – Implement structured sales processes and CRM tools to enhance efficiency, lead management, and conversion rates.
5. Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention, loyalty, and long-term value.
6. Sales Performance & Revenue Accountability – Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets through proactive management and strategic selling.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Align sales efforts with marketing, product, and operations teams to optimize strategies and execution.
8. Sales Ethics & Compliance – Uphold ethical sales practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sales Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand the customer base and increase market penetration for laboratory testing services.
- Achieve sales target, identify new market opportunities and implement targeted sales initiatives to drive revenue growth.
- Optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency, optimize costs, and maximize profitability.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Proactively engage with potential clients to establish and nurture long-term relationships.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored laboratory testing solutions to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Implement strategies to increase repeat business, referrals, and overall client engagement.
3. Sales Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Identify knowledge gaps and provide targeted training to enhance sales skills and industry expertise.
- Set clear sales targets, monitor daily performance, and ensure quotas are consistently met.
4. Sales Operations & Performance Tracking
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Track and analyze key sales metrics to make data-driven decisions and improve team performance.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising sales effectiveness.
5. Budget & Expense Optimization
- Develop and manage the sales budget to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Control sales-related expenses while maintaining productivity and revenue targets.
- Monitor and streamline month-end and year-end closing processes for better financial planning.
6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare comprehensive sales reports and performance analyses to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on sales data to support executive decision-making.
- Continuously refine sales strategies to align with business objectives and market trends.
7. Ad Hoc Tasks
- Prepare urgent sales reports or forecasts as required.
- Assist in high-priority client negotiations and escalations.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to enhance sales strategies.
- Organize and execute last-minute sales promotions or campaigns.
- Develop new sales strategies based on management directives.
- Align business unit targets with corporate goals.
- Prepare high-level presentations for executive meetings.
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects, including collaboration with marketing and product teams.
- Evaluate sales performance metrics and propose continuous improvements.
- Execute other tasks as assigned by management on a day-to-day basis.
Requirements and Skill Set
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Science, Healthcare Management, or related field. Master’s Degree is an advantage.
· Minimum 5-8 years of sales experience in the healthcare or medical diagnostics industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in in hospitals and specialist centers.
Technical & Industry Knowledge:
· Strong understanding of laboratory testing services and clinical diagnostics.
· Familiarity with hospital procurement processes and healthcare regulations.
Sales & Strategic Skills:
· Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
· Aggressive to meet the KPI.
· Skilled in territory management, pipeline development, and key account management.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:
· Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
· Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
· Self-motivated with strong initiative and ability to work under pressure.
Other Requirements:
· Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings, industry events, and sales presentations.
· Strong ethical standards and a commitment to compliance and integrity.
· Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an added advantage.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,500.00 per month
