LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT MANAGER (EXPORT)
Manage all the export process (sea, land & air freight) to support Decathlon Logistics Malaysia activities
Build a strong, efficient and sustainable relationship with our carriers/forwarders based on our international & local standards
Take decisive actions with the organisation of the flows of your activity and guarantee compliance with international transport regulations by creating and managing the SOP for all the different flows of all countries
Improve transportation and loading activity in terms of cost, lead time, efficiency & customer satisfaction
Communicate internally with local teams (Logistics, Customs, Supply, Retail) and international team
Maintain business relationship with our customers & create international networking/opportunities for country growth
Lead QMR/review with our transportation partners to ensure a consistent high level of service and performance
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruit sports talents who are sporty, have a sense of responsibility, vitality, generosity, authenticity and concrete/practical/autonomous
Take the responsibility to develop skills and confidence of each team member as well as their ability to work independently, through regular and effective individual meetings, team meetings and daily coaching on the floor
Make a training plan and development plan with the team including new teammates’ integration
Organise and manage the availability of the team for business activities including planning for the working hours and efficient organisation
Able to communicate well to the teammates for any announcement of information, amendment or any new procedure implemented
Have a sense of responsibility towards the teammates by guiding and managing them in alignment with the mission
Enforce basic department safety standards following
Apply and enforce all the security procedures (regarding people, goods and equipment)
Play an active role in combating shrinkage & items delivered with quality
Involved to train the team’s basic knowledge of safety
Observe the product’s safety policy (traceability of sensitive products, use-by dates etc.)
Lead the warehouse well as Duty Manager when needed
Forecast and manage the economic performance and put action plans to improve with the team throughout the year.
To share and enforce the new ideas for an efficient working environment and procedures.
Maintaining & improving the very basics of your perimeter’s KPI
Result oriented in achieving new heights & courageous to overcome any challenges
Be with the team - support operations team in case of any blockings, peak activity or process changes
Any related ad-hoc missions and activities assigned including on-job training assignment to integrate with all process in the company
WHO WE WANT??
2-3 years of relevant experience in International Transport/ Warehousing/Logistics/International Trade with a bachelor's degree
Excellent verbal communication and a strong written communication skill
Any other professional certificates in supply chain, logistics, transportation or training about the job will be an added advantage
Applies best practices and knowledge of internal/external business challenges to improve products, processes, or services
Proficient in MS Excel, SAP, AFO, and other Warehousing, Transport and Customs Tools
Passionate about Sports
