
Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing to lead and execute digital initiatives that strengthen our brand presence, drive engagement, and support customer acquisition and retention. You will be instrumental in managing our multi-channel digital footprint, with a focus on social media, content creation, KOL engagement, e-newsletters, and social listening. This role demands a creative thinker with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of Malaysia's digital and PR landscape.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter).
Create and schedule engaging content (text, images, videos) aligned with brand voice and target audience.
Track and analyse social media performance metrics to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
Manage paid social campaigns and budgets to maximise reach, engagement, and ROI.
Cultivate active online communities by responding to customer queries, reviews, and comments professionally and promptly.
Write compelling, on-brand copy to maximize engagement and visibility.
2. Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) & Brand Ambassadors
Identify, recruit, and collaborate with influencers and KOLs to expand brand reach and credibility.
Maintain strong relationships with brand ambassadors to support marketing campaigns and events.
Monitor and evaluate KOL/ambassador effectiveness to continuously improve influencer strategies.
3. Content Creation
Lead the development of high-quality digital content (blogs, infographics, videos, social media content).
Ensure all content adheres to brand identity, SEO guidelines, and audience relevance.
Collaborate cross-functionally to gather input and produce compelling, informative assets.
Track content performance and apply insights to refine content strategy for better conversion and engagement.
4. Social Listening
Use social listening tools to monitor brand mentions, sentiment, and industry trends.
Generate actionable insights from audience conversations and competitor activity.
Identify opportunities for real-time engagement with influencers, media, and consumers.
5. E-Newsletter Management
Design and distribute targeted e-newsletters with tailored content, promotions, and updates.
Use audience segmentation to drive personalised communication strategies.
Analyse open rates, click-throughs, and conversions to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Experiment with A/B testing and innovative formats to boost engagement.
