Job Description:
- Regulatory Reporting & IPO Readiness
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead the timely preparation of Group consolidated financial statements and Annual Report, ensuring full compliance with Bursa Malaysia’s listing requirements and relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., SC, MFRS, LHDN).
- Ensure financial statements adhere to Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and other relevant accounting standards.
- Strategic Financial Management
- Support top management in developing and executing financial and funding strategies in line with the company’s IPO plans and overall business direction.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets, highlighting variances and driving corrective actions.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing strategic insights for decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to optimize company performance.
- Governance, Compliance & Team Leadership
- Ensure full compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
- Establish, review, and enhance financial SOPs and internal control systems to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions for audit, tax, and financing matters.
- Oversee payroll processing in compliance with labour and tax laws.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
- Project & Operational Support
- Support costing and pricing strategies for interior design projects.
- Collaborate closely with project and operational teams to ensure financial accuracy and discipline.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
- Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is required.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4-5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and taxation laws in Malaysia.
- Prior experience in interior design, construction, or consultancy industries is an advantage.
- Familiar with IPO processes and public listing financial requirements is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,387.98 per month
