- Plan and develop project brief and scope of works based on end-user's requirements, standard design guidelines and procedures
- Prepare design proposal, drawing, specification, Bills of Quantities and cost estimate on the civil engineering scopes
- Conduct site visit and briefing for the quotation and tender process of the assigned projects
- Liaise and coordinate with end-users, contractors, consultants and local authorities in relation to the assigned projects.
- Conduct site inspection to ensure works shall be carried out in accordance to the specification, budget, timeline and quality workmanship
- Prepare reports on the progress of the projects and tasks assigned
- Attend meetings related to the projects and tasks assigned
- Monitor and manage the subordinates to ensure works are carried out in accordance to the job assignment and timeline
- Advice on any civil engineering related matters
- Advice and monitor the University's building facilities and infrastructure in order to maintain the safety, in compliance with the University's policies and local authorities' requirements
- Bachelor Degree inCivil Engineering recognised by the Government, from any local institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification.
- Possess at least 5 (five) years working experience in the related field.
- Good skill in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and Autocad.
- Good command in spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Able to work under pressure and within tight deadline.
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONAll candidates must have obtained Credit (at least C) for Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government and at least Band 3 and above in Malaysia University English Test (MUET).
