About The Role

SWIFT provides a range of on-site business and technical/supporting infrastructure consultancy services across SWIFT's customer base. The Financial Services Industry Consultant operates in a medium to complex business and technical environment in a selected market supported by SWIFT In linewith the Commercial strategy/Operating/Regional plans and under close supervision of more senior colleagues, the Financial Services Industry Consultant is responsible to deliver consulting services.

What to expect?

  • Support the Global Services Management team to:
  • Manage Global Services Reporting requirements, providing accurate data insights on revenue and cost budgets as well as other key performance indicators.
  • Drive and support day-to-day operational activities related to Services financials, such as:
  • Regular and exceptional billing operations,
  • Ad-hoc project billing reconciliation for Project Managers.
  • Vigilant data monitoring with a focus on financials to prevent revenue leakage and ensure accurate billing, forecasting, and accruals.
  • Accrual/deferral reporting for Global Services
  • Maintain and certify annual reports for the Global Services organization.
  • Update and manage Jira dashboards.
  • Design new and/or evolve the existing processes:
  • Design and implement frameworks and workflows to track new initiatives for management reporting and dashboards.
  • Adopt and promote Continuous Improvement (CI) practices to enhance daily operations, processes, and reporting efficiency. This includes identifying gaps, addressing common issues, and refining tools for an improved user experience.
  • Regularly maintain and update data in the services ERP system, providing expert support and guidance for tool maintenance activities.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on Confluence, enabling global access to tools and processes and empowering regional stakeholders to act independently.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality and accuracy with an operational excellence mindset.
  • Support and mentor team members, providing assistance where needed.


What will make you successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business/financial operations
  • Solid knowledge of the financial or professional services sector
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, keen to learn and open to feedback
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including listening skills) to deal with a wide range of internal & external stakeholders across the globe
  • Proactive, self-motivated, delivery and results focused and having a keen interest for continuous improvement
  • Thrives under pressure, excels in multitasking, and meets tight deadlines with determination
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of Power Pivot and macros.
  • Working knowledge and experience in MS applications, Salesforce, Confluence, Jira. Knowledge in Easy BI, Tableau and Upland are a plus
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
