We are seeking an experienced Identity Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM). The Identity SME will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing identity solutions to ensure secure and efficient access to systems and data across the organization. This role involves strategic planning, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain robust IAM protocols that align with security policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing IAM Strategies:

Design and implement comprehensive IAM strategies to manage user identities and access privileges, ensuring alignment with the organization’s security policies and compliance regulations.

Establish IAM best practices to support organizational growth and security objectives.

Implementing IAM Solutions:

Lead the deployment of IAM technologies, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and other access management solutions.

Oversee the integration of IAM systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless and secure operation.

Evaluate and recommend new IAM tools and technologies to enhance security and operational efficiency.

Providing Technical Expertise:

Serve as the go-to expert on all IAM-related matters, offering technical guidance to IT teams, security professionals, and business stakeholders.

Troubleshoot complex IAM issues and resolve security incidents related to identity and access management.

Conduct regular IAM audits and ensure that all access management practices meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:

Work closely with IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to align IAM solutions with overall organizational goals.

Train and mentor team members and stakeholders on IAM principles, ensuring the adoption of best practices throughout the organization.

Security and Compliance:

Ensure IAM systems comply with internal security policies, GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.

Monitor IAM-related security threats and proactively update solutions to mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Strong expertise in IAM technologies such as SSO, MFA, IGA, and LDAP.

Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).

Hands-on experience with IAM tools like Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, CyberArk, or equivalent platforms.

Knowledge of cloud security and hybrid infrastructure IAM solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex security incidents.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical issues to non-technical audiences.
