We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a deep understanding of the early childhood education landscape to oversee the expansion of our education centers across the country. Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies tailored to the Malaysian Early Childhood Education market, considering local consumer preferences and regulatory requirements to drive education center efficiency and parent & student satisfaction.
  2. Process Optimization: Streamline center workflows, optimize student scheduling systems, and implement standardized procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure seamless student experiences across all education centers.
  3. Center Management: Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards at each education center location, ensuring compliance with Malaysian education regulations and creating a welcoming environment for parents and students.
  4. Staff Development: Recruit, train, and mentor education center staff, including teachers and administrators, fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism, and student-centric care aligned with Sparks Education and Malaysian regulation standards.
  5. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance protocols and best practices to maintain high standards of education, student safety, and service quality, conducting regular audits and performance evaluations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on Malaysian education regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards relevant to education centers, ensuring full compliance across all clinic branches and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting practices.
  7. Financial Oversight: Monitor education center budgets, analyze financial performance, and implement cost-control measures to achieve profitability targets while optimizing revenue streams and identifying opportunities for revenue growth in the Malaysian ECCE market.
  8. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and industry associations to build strategic alliances, leverage resources, and enhance brand visibility, driving business growth and market expansion while ensuring cost-effective operations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in operations management within the Malaysian ECCE industry, with a deep understanding of local market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and consumer preferences.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Malaysian education system, regulatory requirements, and industry standards specific to Early Childhood Care and Education, with a demonstrated ability to navigate the local education landscape and ensure compliance across multiple locations.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, stakeholders, and external partners.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive operational improvements and achieve business objectives in the Malaysian education market.
  6. Proven track record of process optimization, supply chain management, and facility operations within the Malaysian education industry, with a focus on maximizing efficiency, minimizing costs, and enhancing service delivery.
