Job summary:

Sales Trainer specializing in the Mainland China market. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing the capabilities of our sales agents through targeted training programs focused on sales skills, Mandarin language proficiency, communication skills, and digital marketing product knowledge. You will also deliver digital marketing product knowledge training, work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure quality standards in all interactions with advertisers and marketing agencies, and lead onboarding programs for new hires. You will collaborate with the L&D/Trainer Lead to enhance sales development programs and facilitate various sales and digital marketing training initiatives.

Job responsibilities:

  • Sales Training: Design and implement effective sales training programs to upskill sales agents in the digital marketing sector, with a strong emphasis on social media marketing and search engine marketing.
  • Mandarin Language Proficiency: Provide training to improve agents' Mandarin language skills, ensuring they can communicate fluently and professionally with clients in Greater China.
  • Sales Communication Skills Development: Conduct workshops and coaching sessions to enhance the communication abilities of sales agents, focusing on clear and persuasive communication with advertisers and marketing agencies. Product Knowledge Training: Deliver in-depth training on digital marketing products and services, enabling agents to confidently present and sell our offerings to clients.
  • Quality Assurance Collaboration: Partner with the Quality Assurance team to review and improve the quality of calls with advertisers and marketing agencies, ensuring adherence to company standards and identifying areas for further training.
  • Agency Interaction Expertise: Provide guidance on best practices for dealing with third-party marketing agencies, including how to effectively communicate and manage relationships with these partners.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for all new sales agents, ensuring they receive the foundational training required to succeed in their roles.
  • Development Program Collaboration: Partner with the L&D/Trainer Lead to help formalize and enhance development programs aimed at improving individual skills and organizational performance.
  • Training Refresher Sessions: Conduct refresher training sessions based on quality top drivers, assessment errors, and updates to keep agents informed and skilled.
  • Performance Management Initiatives: Execute training activities as part of performance management initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • 1:1 Sales Coaching: Assist the site training lead in conducting one-on-one coaching sessions with QA and Sales Managers to address specific training needs and improve performance of the on-site agents.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest trends in digital marketing and sales techniques, and continuously update training materials to reflect industry developments.


Job requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in sales training, preferably within the digital marketing sector. Experience in social media marketing, search engine marketing, and working with third-party marketing agencies is highly valuable.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin is essential. Mandarin language certification or demonstrated proficiency is preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) are highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills, with a proven ability to engage and motivate sales agents. Experience in developing and delivering training programs is required.
