Primarily a field environment working at marine terminal docks, customers shops and offshore environment. A lot of time spent outside subject to elements in all types of climatic conditions (heat,cold, rain, etc.). Often working around heavy lift equipment, on scaffolding and man-lifts. Overtime and weekend work quite often while on the job site.
Physical demand
Moderately physical job requiring some use of hand tools, lifting, climbing and other activities. The customer or contractor personnel are primarily responsible for the physical labor at the job site and the MIC activities are to be minimized.

About The Job
- Supervise customer or subcontractor team to guarantee the success of intervention like installation, maintenance, overhaul, repair of marine loading arms and accessory equipment at customers site (anywhere in the world) in accordance with HSES rules and in respect of Technip values.
- Responsible for accurate and timely record keeping to serve as basic for billing customer for service rendered.
- Provide required advice and consultation to customer or contractor personnel in a timely, effective and courteous manner during installation, maintenance or training as required.
- Understands and complies with Technip and customer safety requirements and procedures. Acts in a proactive manner to insure a safe working environment on the job site and in living or traveling conditions.
- Prepares and submits Field Activity Reports, Expense Reports and other documentation required in a timely manner.
- While not directly working on a field service job or other activity directed by the Customer Service Manager, MIC will work in the Technip facility/shop at the direction of the Shop Supervisor to assist other departments as needed.
- Will report equipment problems and assist in any corrective actions taken.
- Will control expenses incurred while on assignment or traveling within guideline established by Technip and the Customer Service Manager.
- Will work with the site personnel to minimize Technip back charges or other exposure during installation of equipment.
- Works within the Technip policies and HSES rules.

- Bachelors degree or strong field experience
- Must be fluent in English (speaking and writing)
- Strong Mechanical knowledge
- Hydraulic knowledge
- Troubleshooting research (read drawing, analyses, search)
- Experienced in assembly of large mechanical components and lifting equipment
- Good communication (customer)
