The client is a well established Japanese multinational based in Malaysia. This is a Chief of Staff role supporting the Chief Marketing Officer.

Roles Summary / Purpose

The incumbent is required to drive our corporate strategies and plan the initiatives to realize our business objectives based on Company’s Vision.

Strategic thinking in aligning strategy to tactics & with stakeholders.

The incumbent must also be analytical with strong organizational abilities.

The incumbent will add value to the organization, establish culture, structure to create new businesses by leveraging on his/her experience in market research and business operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Identify mission and vision to develop strategic goals for the organization

· Construct forecast and analytical models.

· Develop and leads discussion for Mid-Term and 1-year plan to materialize strategy and validate our planning

· Closely collaborate and integrate with the business units.

· Seek for happy medium with sales department.

· Responsible to coordinate and prepare corporate reporting.

· Communicate with Regional head office and our internal stakeholder to align with our strategy and execution.

· Assess the company’s operational and strategic performance to use tool based on our Vision and 1-year plan and countermeasure in place.

· Align processes, resources-planning, and department goals with overall strategy.

· Research new market and competition to identify threats and opportunities.

· Monitors business climate, trends in technology and development, and government activity in areas of the company current and anticipated product lines.

· Bounce our ideas off and handle with generated idea as special mission.

· Enhance company management quality embracing governance, internal control, risk management, and sustainability.

· Promote quality concept (customer first, continuous process improvement, scientific thinking, teamwork, etc.) and put it in practice within the company.

Requirement:

· Bachelor’s Degree/Masters

· Background: preferably: IT company; business study/commerce/marketing or FP & A experience

· More than 5 years solid experience

· Pleasant personality, good communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Able to work independently as well as a good team player.

· Strong analytical skill.

· Able to articulate and possess effective presentation skills.

· Committed and result driven.

· Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.

· With strong self-initiative and creative.
