Job Purpose :

The primary purpose of this role is to design, implement, and maintain a scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging best practices in cloud management, automation, and security. The role involves managing Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for deploying microservices, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for seamless application delivery, and automating infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform and Ansible. Additionally, the position requires developing and maintaining serverless applications using AWS services, ensuring compliance, security, and cost optimization in the cloud environment. The role also includes mentoring developers and DevOps engineers, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and collaborating with software engineering teams to facilitate a smooth and efficient software delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for deploying microservices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and updates.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Grafana, Prometheus, and other relevant tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery processes.
• Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other serverless services.
• Ensure best practices for security, cost management, and compliance in the cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Mentor and provide guidance to Developers and DevOps engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and others.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and deployment.
• Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience with serverless computing and related services.
• Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar.
• o Strong scripting and automation skills (Go, Python, Bash, etc.).
