Scope of the Role

This role will oversee and lead the strategic media planning initiatives for our clients. As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing media campaigns, managing a team of media planners, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver outstanding results. The team is highly passionate in providing creative & innovative solutions to the client, while having flawless operations delivery. You will also be the face of the company major client, to develop the relationship with clients & be seen by client as a valuable member of the account team who adds value to the business.

The role requires you to:

  • Responsible for delivering quality of contracted services
  • Seek opportunities from out-of-scope offerings and value add services
  • Develop and executive comprehensive media strategies that align with clients’ marketing objectives and budgetary constraints
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and continuously proposing innovative and effective campaign solutions
  • Identify the most effective media channels, considering how digital and traditional interplay in the media ecosystem
  • Be a trusted partner by demonstrating traits with strong timeline management and delivering business outcomes
  • Effective & efficient management and delivery of the agency’s media product & thinking to clients
  • Delivers high quality output both internally & externally based on attention to detail and rigor
  • Collaborate with media owners, agency partners and internal specialist teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and all deliverables are met/launched on time
  • Track budgets, monitor revisions, manage timing for agencies to submit their numbers for review, and to provide up-to-date details for revenue tracking and spend forecasts
  • Work across all aspects of the business management with internal and external stakeholders, resolving client issues and contributing to pitches for business
  • Develop and cascade ways of working, processes and planning framework with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead, upskill and mentor a team of media planners, providing guidance and support to drive their professional growth

Required Skills or Attributes:

  • Min. 6+ years in business development, media management and planning experience
  • Leadership skills in building and operation excellence for the teams and partners
  • Strong and confident articulation and communication skills.
  • Always seeking new ideas/ inspirations to bring fresh perspectives to client work
  • Able to challenge and provide intelligent feedback to clients and key stakeholders
  • Strong people management, problem solving and proficient time management skills
  • Strong data interpretation and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail with elevated levels of accuracy
  • Strong in client servicing and media planning to provide innovative and effective solutions
  • Passionate about the media and communications industry and desire to achieve new business growth in a demanding landscape
  • Demonstrate genuine passion and curiosity in our client & their business
