Purpose of Job

The role will be responsible in managing client servicing of energy accounts, including renewals, developing business relationships with clients, and reviews coverage terms, conditions, and pricing on new and renewal accounts for corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Client Management:

  • Maintain relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs.
  • Analyze client policies, documentation, and marketing presentations to determine the appropriate coverage scope.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of existing coverage to identify any gaps or areas of improvement.
  • Coordinate and follow up with insurers on policy documents, and notify insurers of any discrepancies, and amendments.
  • Respond to incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and third parties.
  • Ensure quotations, memorandum of insurance, and billings are correct and complete.
  • Follow up with clients on the premium collection and address premium warranty due date.
  • Assist in the renewal process, preparation of submission and the gathering of information.
  • Process of slips, quotes, indications, and endorsements duties.
  • Review the client’s claim status and assist in handling claims where necessary.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Company and/or Group policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and deal with correspondence appropriately.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, economics, business management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ working experience in a similar field.
  • Possess relevant knowledge of the principles of Insurance will be preferable.
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and written in English.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Interpersonal skills and client relationship capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
