The successful candidate will be responsible for executing sales and marketing plans, building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities.

What You'll Do

As a Medical Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing sales attention and services to healthcare professionals within your assigned territory. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with clients, delivering engaging product presentations, conducting insightful market research, and identifying lucrative business opportunities. You will also be expected to respond promptly to client needs, attend regular meetings, plan your weekly work schedule effectively, and adhere strictly to company policies as well as the local industry's code of conduct.

  • Execute sales and marketing plans to ensure that sales targets are maximised
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with healthcare and medical professionals
  • Deliver product presentations to ensure thorough understanding of products
  • Conduct market and competitor research to stay informed and ahead in the industry
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with new & existing customers
  • Respond to client needs and complaints regarding products and services in a timely manner
  • Regularly attend meetings, conduct data presentations and briefings
  • Plan and manage weekly work schedules with the Sales Manager for efficient work execution
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local industry’s code of conduct

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this Medical Sales Specialist role will bring a wealth of knowledge from a relevant field such as Medicine, Pharmacy or Science. You should have a general understanding of medical semantics, products, practices, along with excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to connect with people at all levels. Your persuasive manner will be key in dealing with professionals who hold differing beliefs and values. A proactive personality, the ability to work independently, business awareness, and analytical skills are also essential for this role. You should have at least a year's experience in dealing with healthcare professionals and the medical industry, and the ability to travel with your own transport.

  • Bachelor degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Science or equivalent
  • General knowledge of medical semantics, products and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels
  • Persuasive manner and the ability to deal with professionals who hold differing beliefs and values
  • Proactive personality with the ability to work independently
  • Business awareness and analytical skills
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in dealing with healthcare professionals
  • Ability to travel and possess own transport
