Assistant Audit Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting line manager or supervisor to cross check financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Perform audit adjustments as required by the supervisor or external auditor.
• Performing monthly checks of the GL prepared by the accounting department and report to the supervisor of any potential issues.
• Keeping good records of the past supporting documentation and information for future use.
• Ensuring accounting standards are followed by the accounting department.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/Banking, or equivalent.
• Needs to have a good command in English and should be a good communicator.
• Preferably from internal audit background.
• Ability to understand financial statements from scratch.
• Flexibility to work in different time zones as required.
• Attention to detail.
