Role & Responsibilities

  • To manage distributors/ wholesaler within assigned region. Responsible in sales planning and coaching sales team into meeting overall business direction and strategies, ensuring achievement of sales target.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies relevant to the trade and channel according to company direction.
  • Planning of route to market strategy in area of distribution and coverage for total assigned region.
  • Collaboration with distributor/ wholesaler sales team and PIC to drive and increase both shipment and in market sales.
  • Exploration of new business opportunities and drive distribution across channels within the General Trade business.
  • Effective trade spend management in devising effective promo plans and optimizing budget utilization.
  • Work closely and coach distributor/ wholesaler sales team to ensure trade execution excellence.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant business-related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience required; some of which must be with a strong a negotiation skills and business acumen.
  • Well verse in managing business operation within appointed Malaysia region (i.e: Central, Southern, Northern, East Coast, Sabah & Sarawak).
  • Experience of creating change, challenging the status quo, establishing a product category or brand with entrepreneurial spirit.
