Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development & Partnerships Manager to join our fast-growing team in the gifting solutions sector. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships and developing business relationships with retailers across Malaysia. You will work closely with key retailers to promote and expand our eGift Card and corporate reward solutions, helping to create seamless, innovative, and mutually beneficial partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Retailer Partnerships: Identify, target, and engage key retail partners in Malaysia, particularly in the FMCG, hospitality, and lifestyle sectors. Negotiate and close strategic partnerships that support our gifting and rewards platform.

• Market Expansion: Develop a deep understanding of the Malaysian gifting and retail ecosystem, including market trends, competitors, and opportunities to enhance our footprint within the region.

• Business Development: Prospect new business opportunities by identifying and contacting potential partners, presenting our solutions, and customizing offers to meet retailer needs.

• Solution Customization: Collaborate with retailers to develop customized eGift card solutions that

integrate seamlessly with their sales platforms. Work with internal teams (product, tech, marketing) to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing success.

• Retailer Onboarding & Relationship Management: Oversee the onboarding process for new retail

partners. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing retailers, ensuring they achieve maximum value from our platform.

• Sales & Revenue Targets: Meet and exceed revenue and sales growth targets by closing partnerships and expanding the use of our solutions across the Malaysian market.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, operations, and marketing teams

and scale solutions based on retailer and market feedback.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data insights to monitor performance, optimize retailer engagement, and identify areas for further business development opportunities.

• Events & Networking: Represent the company at relevant industry events, networking sessions, and retailer meetings to further promote our offerings and expand our brand presence in Malaysia.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in Gifting, Retail, or eCommerce Industry: 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales roles within the gifting, retail, or eCommerce sectors, ideally with a focus on the Malaysian market.

• Retailer Network in Malaysia: Proven track record of building successful partnerships with retailers in Malaysia, with an existing network of contacts in FMCG, hospitality, or lifestyle retail.

• Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and build long-term relationships while achieving

immediate sales objectives.

• Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers and negotiate partnership deals.

• Self-Motivated & Results-Oriented: Highly driven, with the ability to work independently, meet

deadlines, and exceed targets in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of Gifting & Rewards Systems: Familiarity with eGift card platforms, corporate rewards, and loyalty solutions is a strong plus.

• Understanding of Malaysian Market Regulations: Knowledge of local laws and regulations that impact the gifting industry, including digital payment solutions and compliance requirements.

• Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel within Malaysia to meet retailers and attend industry events.

Compensation: Upto 8000 Malaysian Ringgits
