About the role

This is a highly teamwork-based role, you will be a part of the new merchant acquisition team, working closely with the Sales & Onboarding teams to drive the clientele growth at the forefront of the business.

As Account Manager, you will play a vital role as a strategic business partner for our F&B business merchants, with a strong focus on driving revenue growth for both our merchants and the company.

What you will do

  • Strategise and manage a portfolio of merchants with the objective to grow overall revenue through increasing the usage of existing products and upselling of new products
  • Establish close relationships with merchants to gain an insightful understanding of their business, identify their unique qualities and challenges to develop GMV growth strategies
  • Manage and gain insights of merchants’ performance, identify gaps or opportunities, optimise their Oddle Shop to grow their sales in their first 90 days
  • Engage and consult merchants periodically to conduct performance/business reviews to provide insights and recommendations to grow their revenue
  • Market and cross-sell company's new products/services of our new business verticals, as well as improve new product adoption
  • Protect revenue lost by reducing churn, and grow new revenue by getting key merchants onboard with our marketing campaigns and/or other company-wide initiatives
  • Periodically review engagement strategies, keep abreast of internal product offerings and knowledge as well as those of competitors

Who we're looking for

  • 3-4 years experience in account management or other client relationship management roles, preferably within the Tech/eCommerce industry and in a fast-paced setting
  • Building rapport and relationships with clients is your forte, you're able to connect with people naturally and genuinely
  • Demonstrate a solid grasp of the F&B landscape and technology in Malaysia, exposure to F&B industry is a plus
  • Possess a robust business acumen, capable of serving as a valued business partner to clients and driving their growth through Oddle's solutions
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Display strong analytical thinking skills, enabling the analysis of business insights and identification of growth opportunities
  • Embrace a merchant-centric mindset, consistently going above and beyond to impact our merchants' businesses and the F&B industry
  • Take pride in your work and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders effectively and thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • An entrepreneurial spirit who is self-started, resourceful, able to drive actions and inspire people around them
